ReposiTrak’s Active QMS solution gives manufacturers an easy automated way to capture the information needed to support collection of records such as inspections for sanitation, pest control, or temperature checks, for example. Below are the most frequently asked questions about the Active QMS solution and the smartphone App feature used to capture data.

The main difference is the functionality. The App is focused on collecting the record that has been assigned to the user. There are no admin features in the App. Those administrative features, such as setting up form with the data points to capture, assigning who should capture the data and when, are setup online. The App can work in an offline mode, without the internet. Any data captured within the app will synchronize back to the account when the device reconnects to WIFI.

The App is designed to capture evidence-based data points in response to specific questions. The responses are not expected to be highly detailed, long explanations. Whereas an Audit is just the opposite. It should include details, tons of evidence and be heavier on the detail description of what was being audited.

ReposiTrak’s QMS App is available for use on both an IOS operating system (iPhone, iPad, iPod) or an Android operating system (Smartphone or Tablet) as long as the device being used has a camera if photographic evidence is part of the requirement.
